1. Scope
This policy covers efile.technology while it operates as an information site and early-access waitlist. We do not collect, store, or process tax returns, Social Security numbers, EINs, or other taxpayer data through this site. Please do not enter any in the waitlist form. When the filing service launches, we will publish a separate, more detailed privacy notice and obtain the consents that service requires.

3. How we use it
To respond to your waitlist request and announce access; to operate, secure, and improve the site; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to meet legal obligations. We do not use waitlist data to make automated decisions about you.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, under confidentiality obligations. These currently are: Vercel Inc. (website hosting); Supabase Inc. (database for waitlist records). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety, or in a merger or sale of the business.
5. Retention
We keep waitlist records until early access is no longer being offered or you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to remove you from the waitlist, by emailing hello@efile.technology. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Residents of California and certain other states have additional rights, including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by those laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect information. No system is completely secure.
8. Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.
9. Children
The site is for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date, and will take extra steps where the law requires.
